The Cisco Small Business 48V Power Adapter is designed to work specifically with the Cisco WAP361 Wireless-AC Dual Radio Wall Plate Access Point with PoE and the Cisco WAP581 Wireless-AC Dual Radio Wave 2 Access Point with 2.5GbE LAN when Power over Ethernet (PoE) cannot be used. The power adapter offers flexibility when PoE is not an option by supplying power to the wireless access point via a standard AC outlet.
